Shanghai, May 12, 2026 – The Annual Conference & Technical Specification Review Meeting of the National Pressure Metrology Technical Committee was grandly held in Shanghai on May 12, 2026. The event brought together leading experts, research institutes, and key enterprises in the field of pressure metrology to explore cutting-edge technologies, review core technical specifications, and discuss strategies for high-quality development.

As a core enterprise in the pressure metrology sector and an appointed member of the professional committee, Beijing Hengsheng Weiye Technology Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as"HSIN") was invited to attend the conference. The company actively participated in technical discussions and specification reviews, contributing valuable insights based on its practical experience in developing independently engineered Pressure Calibration Equipment. Focusing on the scientific robustness, technological advancement, and operational feasibility of the specifications, HSIN provided critical references to help refine the pressure metrology technical system.

1. Work Summary & Planning
The meeting reviewed recent achievements in the development of measurement standards, formulation and revision of technical specifications, training and promotion of metrology standards, academic exchanges, industry services, and committee development. In light of current trends in pressure metrology, the committee outlined priority areas and strategic tasks for the next phase, setting a clear direction and solid foundation for the year’s work.

2. Academic Exchange
Experts from research institutions, technical metrology agencies, universities, and corporate R&D departments delivered presentations addressing five key topics that reflect both current research hotspots and practical industrial needs:

Research on the effectiveness evaluation of medical compression stockings based on NURBS high-precision modeling

Advances in quantum pressure primary standards

Progress and applications of extreme-environment specialty pressure sensors

Simulation and theoretical study of a 1500 MPa controlled-clearance piston pressure gauge

Research and progress on metrological traceability for non-contact tonometers

3. Technical Specification Review
The meeting focused on the review of the following two specifications. Following thorough discussion and rigorous evaluation, both were unanimously approved by all attendees.

Calibration Specification for Bypass Thermal Differential Pressure Flowmeters

The development and refinement of these specifications will effectively address gaps in calibration standards in relevant fields, standardizing calibration procedures for gas regulators with spring tube manometers and bypass thermal differential pressure gauges. This will enhance the standardization and regulatory compliance of metrology calibration processes, providing strong technical support for quality control and safe operations across related industries.

The conference clarified industry technical standards and development directions, playing a significant role in unifying measurement benchmarks and elevating the overall technical level of the pressure metrology industry.
